Honour Handmade Porcelain Vase
An elegant new addition to our range of handmade stoneware and porcelain vessels for flowers and grasses, the Honour vase is made from recycled porcelain clay and has a wonderfully textured, tactile look.
Twice fired, the beautiful fractal effect is achieved when a black glaze is layered with magnesium carbonate. The resulting surface has a wonderfully organic, lustrous look that swirls over the vessel’s curves and is mesmerising to look at.
With its narrow, scalloped neck, the Honour vase is perfect for long, slender stems and dried grasses. I like to fill it with tall, papery dried honesty as a lovely counterpart to the dark, blue-black and ivory pattern.
Height: approx 15cm
Dishwasher safe, but hand washing with care is advised
Handmade by Peter Fishley Holland, the seventh generation of the Fishley Holland family of studio potters. Peter has been making ceramics for 56 years.
